Elements and Principles of Design

This was another really fun project to do. It didn't involve Photoshop or really anything on the computer. We just had to be able to recognize the elements and principles of design around us and try to capture them in interesting photos. And I gotta say, I'm pretty proud of some of the neat shots and angles I was able to get! my absolute favorite was the one of the dictionary page laying on the ground all on it's lonesome -- but it could have been way cooler and had some actual meaning to it if the dictionary page had some really near word on it like, I don't know, "Spirit" or something like that, rather than a list of words that contain "Side" haha. I digress, these photos were a real challenge to try to take, and I found it especially interesting taking worm's eye view shots, and shots that really focus a lot on the foreground, as you might notice :P.

Surrealism Montage

Sadly, this was the final project I was able to finish. This is my second favorite, coming in behind the Portrait Series one -- at least in terms of the end product. However, the process to create this one was much more complex, perplexing, an intriguing to do. It helped me learn a lot of really neat tricks in Photoshop that I probably wouldn't have learned elsewhere. I created 3 different versions of this, but I decided to just pick my favorite of the bunch rather than posting all three; because let me tell you -- these photos were absolutely MASSIVE and took ages to upload to the website. And I didn't feel like waiting or going into Photoshop to save them as a lower quality. So basically, you just get this one due to my impatience :P!
